The Bank has released below written transcripts of MPC meetings from 2015 at which policy was decided, as well as the associated policy briefing material. These documents have been published outside the Bank’s usual archive release schedule as part of the Bank's commitments under the Warsh review in 2014 (Transparency and accountability at the Bank of England) to publish these materials with an eight year delay. This will constitute an annual release going forward.
The linked documents below from March to December 2015 include the following:
- Key staff inputs that helped inform the policy decision.
- Transcripts of the final MPC meetings at which policy is decided. More information on the timetable of meetings can be found on the Monetary policy page.
- Policy decision statement, minutes and, where relevant, Inflation Report that were already published at the time of each meeting in 2015.
Documents contain minimal redactions, which have only been applied where necessary. This includes, for example, in order comply with legal requirements such as where the information was received by the Bank in confidence or a statutory duty of confidence applies (eg section 348 of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000), or to protect the physical and information security of the Bank and/or its staff.
