Nathan Monk

Nathan Monk is CIO and Executive Director of the Technology Directorate and is responsible for all technology services.

He has been at the Bank since 2018 and before taking up this role, he was Technical Director for the RTGS Renewal, where his knowledge and leadership was instrumental in the successful implementation of the RTGS Renewal Programme. He spent 25 years in a range of roles in the technology industry, including in the consulting, telecommunications, retail, finance and banking sectors. He was appointed Executive Director in July 2023.

Nathan has a BSc in information systems management and began his formal working career with Three UK after completing a graduate scheme at a consultancy firm.
